Charakonda is a mandal (district sub-division) within the Nagarkurnool District within the Indian state of Telangana.[1] The district and its subdivisions had been created by the Telangana authorities in 2016 as a part of a reorganization of the state’s districts, mandals and income divisions; previous to that the area encompassed by the newly shaped Charakonda mandal had been included within the Mahbubnagar district[1][2][3]
